And now I can’t get that movie out of my head. Anyone else have that problem?

Nope. It disappeared from my mind very shortly after watching.

Deleted it from internal memory banks riiiiiiight after he approached the tesseract.

Yup, same here. But I’m not complaining. I really enjoyed it.

The soundtrack for that movie is so good.

Oh yeah. that soundtrack really stood out. I didn’t watch the Oscars, did it win anything?

Your brain is just too three dimensional to understand the five dimensional concepts
Love is the only force that can trancend space and time

It had 3 nominations for the audio, but didn’t win any, Hans Zimmer is amazeballs
Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score
Best Achievement in Sound Mixing
Best Achievement in Sound Editing

Hans Zimmer, that makes sense. I thought the style sounded familiar.

Yes. It makes me sad that everybody is taking the “love” thing at face value when it’s just as easy and more logical to treat it as a man at the end of his wits rationalizing things he doesn’t understand.

Love is the only force that can trancend space and time
I literally face-palmed when Anne Hathaway said that...

That is why I enjoyed seeing it in Imax so much. The cost of imax felt justified too since I saw it at the national air and space museum and it was free to get in to the museum for the day. Music totally made the movie for me!

I still loved the whole thing with setting TARS honesty level. Definitely my favorite robot in a movie.

I agree. They were original and well done. Who ever thought a rectangle could be that imaginative and functional?

In that respect, it reminded me a little of
Phnomenon
a little bit

Fantastic movie, in my top 10 favorites of all time.

If you enjoyed Interstellar, go watch Planetes. I remember watching Insterstellar, and after the movie ended thinking to myself; “I haven’t felt emotions like this since I finished Planetes.”
So yeah. Go watch it.

Nah....when I left the theater I just kept thinking, it was alright but 2001 was vastly superior. Then my wife was all like “Man, that was like 2001 but not shitty” haha. I doubt I’ll rematch it.

I’m the other way around. I liked it better and you don’t need to be stoned to make anything out of it.

Didn’t like it all that much, the sound design was good though. It was annoying sometimes, but that was intended and it worked well.
What killed the movie for me was the part in the ice planet, matt damon walked back to the base faster than a full throttle space ship, and if you remember the shot from within the ship when they were going to save that dude, that thing was going fast (space ship fast!!) and took couple of minutes to get there. then a couple of minutes to get back and Matt Damon was already there by foot!. It’s a stupid thing, but I have a very logical mind..

I was just assuming that it took her a while to find him.

The problem is the crack in the helmet, he was running out of oxygen so it couldn’t be that long..

It will sound crazy, but I’m on the same page as Cooper. I think we, as a species, have to get off of this planet.
